Rev. Linda Pedersen

Pr. Linda Pedersen was called to join the Pastoral Staff of the Southwestern Minnesota Synod in the ELCA in July of 2004.

Pr. Linda received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis with a major in interpersonal communications and her Masters of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.

Pr. Linda served as solo pastor at St. Mark Lutheran in Circle Pines for 13 years and Associate Pastor at Faith Lutheran in St. Paul. Previous to her ordination she served the church in the area of Youth and Family Ministry, working in Olivia, Edina, and Shoreview. She has served both congregations and synods in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Minnesota.

Her family includes husband, Dave, who is a freelance journalist. They have a daughter, Sarah, who is married to Pr. Matt Hausken and parents of their two grandsons, Leif and Bjorn. Sarah is the SW MN Synod Youth Coordinator. Their son John is the program director at Camp Onomia.

Pr. Linda enjoys hosting guests, canning, fishing, traveling and the State Fair.
